From an idea to reality.
Water Taxi CI was established in 2023 by Max Boleat following a clear decline in Inter-island connectivity within the Channel Islands. The dream? To offer islanders, tourists & business a way to travel inter-island hassle free, efficiently & cost effectively. And so, the birth of Water Taxi CI happened. Our team pride themselves on offering an alternative solution to mainstream travel including the only commercial direct travel link between Jersey & Alderney! We are an enthusiastic, friendly & approachable team of Saltey sea dogs that love nothing more than sharing our passion for the Channel Islands with our passengers. Launching a charter business is no light task and requires plenty of admin, safety planning & crew training. So, in stepped the team at Poseidon Marine to support the startup project. Their admin input was vital in the initial success of the business and they cannot be thanked enough for their support during our startup period.
Since its inception almost 2 years ago the team have gone from strength to strength & In late 2024 Water Taxi CI services became part of Go-Sail.je through an exciting new partnership which we hope will see our small idea become a larger part of Channel Island life.
